BUCKDEN HIGH STREET
Our key question after half term is 'how important is the High Street in Buckden'?
The aim of this topic is to identify how Buckden High Street has changed over time, with regard to the different shops and amenities (hairdressers, flower shops, fruit and vegetable shops). We will also look at the shops over the road from school and how they have changed, Our sustainable development goal is about 'decent work and economic growth', hence the focus on the shops.
Our time scale ranges from the Tudor period up until now.
BUCKDEN SCHOOL IN VICTORIAN DAYS AND TODAY
Our topic for this term in Year 1 is 'Quality Education' and our aim is to research what Education at Buckden school was like in the Victorian times.
The aim is to show how Education in the present day differs from the Victorian era - with particular focus on Buckden School education.
